A quick reminder to you that the week’s best business blogging is available for your perusal via some of the web’s best blog carnivals for small business readers.

This week’s Carnival of the Capitalists is hosted over at One Man Band and C.E.H. Weidel (besides having the good taste to include a humble offering from your friendly Journal Blogger) has the usual mucho-carne upon which to mentally munch.

My typically-arcane favorite is this application of The Long Tail to the healthcare marketplace, posted to Newly Corporate by Brandon Henak. I find Chris Anderson’s central ideas to be intriguing anyway and, in addition to providing a nice summary of them, Henak uses them as another way to plug preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices as everybody’s most affordable health care option.

Liz Fuller gets the prize from this harassed work-at-home mom for the must-read entry from this week’s Carnival of Small Business Issues. Her post title, Have More Energy for Your Business - Delegate at Home, made me think first of the many things you can farm out to your family (or back out to your family if previously-delegated stuff winds up back in your lap). But what Liz actually talks about are various paid services — everything from pet grooming to house cleaning and prepared meals — to get any number of housewifely things done.

Think you can’t afford it? You might think differently after Liz shows you how much your time is worth. ;)

Again, lots and lots to choose from in these two carnivals. Happy reading, folks.

    Hi Dawn

Thanks for highlighting my article. Writing it inspired me to delegate a bit more at home - and I hope it inspires others to do the same!

    Liz
