Now go kill yourself
Here's a message for squeamish marketers (especially those inclined to whine about it):

Now, before you hire the hit man to go after either me or her, consider the chart below.

You see that the version of marketing that we are doing these days is not anything like the slimey, manipulative, used-car-salesman stuff that makes so many of us turn green whenever we think about it.
Kathy posits that an important part of the problem is the connotations attached to the word marketing. What we really need, she says, is a new word.
Any ideas? Make a suggestion ... here or there.
