Techie-geek note

I don't know why it is, but I always save my geeky projects for this time of year.

At any rate, I've gotten really tired of deleting blog spam from the sacred pages of The Journal Blog. In self defense, I'm switching to a different platform.

While I play with PHP and see if I can reproduce this format (that is, one that matches the rest of The MicroEnterprise Journal), there's a distinct possibility that the Journal Blog will temporarily go dark. I doubt it will last for more than a few minuts and, if you're not paying attention, you may well miss it.

A greater possibility is that you'll visit before I've got the templates put together and finalized. The content will still be here for your reading pleasure, and I'll get the aesthetics together as soon as possible.

(UPDATE: Nope ... after spending a lot of the day playing around with Word Press, I decided that I don't know enough PHP yet and don't have the patience to wade through it. More trouble than it's worth for me at the moment. Guess I'll have to turn my attention to other geeky projects instead.)
