THE MICROENTERPRISE JOURNAL IS ON INDEFINITE HIATUS, EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2010. CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS WILL RECEIVE A PRO-RATED REFUND OF THEIR LAST SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENT WITHIN THE NEXT 60 DAYS.

The MicroEnterprise Journal is a weekly business news periodical that is made available to subscribers online as well as being distributed electronically by e-mail.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions can be purchased from this web site by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). By making payment online, users agree to have their subscriptions automatically renewed by recurring charges against the account they originally used to make their subscription purchase.

Subscribers can also request an invoice, to be sent by email at the time they place their order. Invoices can be paid by check, ACH transaction, money order, or credit card.

Please note that monthly subscribers are required to provide either credit card or ACH account and routing information with payment of their initial invoice for future recurring billing purposes. Recurring invoicing is not available for monthly subscriptions.

Within 15 days of expiration of invoiced subscriptions, users will receive a renewal invoice sent to the email address on their user account. Invoices that remain unpaid up to ten (10) days after subscription expires will result in automatic termination of such subscription.

All subscriptions are subject to an initial, no-obligation 14-day trial commencing on the day they place their online order or their mail order is received in house. Credit cards will be charged 14 days after the original order date, unless the subscriber cancels their subscription prior to the end of the free trial period.

Checks and money orders received in house will be deposited at the end of the free trial period, unless the subscriber cancels their subscription prior to that time.

Trial subscriptions can be canceled by using the Contact Page on this web site or by sending an email message to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your name and the date of your subscription.

In addition to weekly email delivery of the newsletter, a subscription to The MicroEnterprise Journal entitles the subscriber to access to all content on the Journal web site, including national news articles and news and column archives.

In addition, subscription to The MicroEnterprise Journal includes a limited, 30-day license to reprint individual articles published by The MicroEnterprise Journal, provided the subscriber notify the editor of The MicroEnterprise Journal prior to reprinting such article. Reprint permission is provided under the following terms and conditions:

  • The license granted by this transaction is a 30 day, one-time reprint license, and does not grant licensee permission to otherwise resell the licensed content;
  • Only articles published with The MicroEnterprise Journal's copyright notice are available for licensing;
  • All MicroEnterprise Journal articles must be reprinted with the following copyright notice: "Copyright © [year] by The MicroEnterprise Journal (www.microenterprisejournal.com). All rights reserved. Reprinted with permission."; a hypertext link may be substituted for the URL in the copyright notice;
  • Articles reprinted under this license may not be archived on your web site without prior written permission.

Subscriptions to The MicroEnterprise Journal may be canceled at any time. In the event that a subscription is canceled before it would normally expire, the subscriber will receive a full refund of the unused portion of their subscription payment.


Usage of Public Areas of This Site

If you participate in any of the interactive features that are or will be made available to the public on The MicroEnterprise Journal web site at any time, including but not limited to chat rooms, message boards or web logs, you agree to not:

  • defame, abuse, harass or threaten others;
