MNB 7/31/06: Home Based Micros Skip Tax Break

Okay, so its not sexy or dramatic (unless you're as jazzed about growing numbers of microbusinesses as I am), but the 2004 nonemployer statistics were released by the Census Bureau last week. Plus, a new survey shows that home-based businesses often don't take that tax deduction for business use of the home. And the SBA reauthorization limps toward a floor vote -- sort of.
